Chelsea Kirkpatrick : Production Manager

Chelsea Kirkpatrick

Production Manager

Chelsea Kirkpatrick has been involved in theater since starring in her very first show at Westwood Charter Elementary. She could never have imagined that ten years later she would find herself as an instructor for that very same program.

She has been in over twenty musical theater productions throughout her schooling, and as a cast member in the ETC theatre company. She studied dance extensively at Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and screen acting at the New York Academy for Dramatic Arts.

Although she will always have a deep passion for performing, she has definitely caught the teaching bug. She feels so incredibly lucky to be a part of the Upstage team and this fantastic program.

Julie Bank : Production Director

Julie is excited to be officially part of the Upstage Theatre Arts Schools and working with the amazing Upstage staff and students!

Adrian Cohen : Artistic Director

Adrian Cohen

Artistic Director

Adrian has been a professional actor and drama teacher for 22 years. He was born and educated in England completing a BA (honors) at Leeds University and a Drama Diploma at the Arts Educational Schools, London.

He is currently the drama teacher at Westwood Charter elementary school and has directed 8 shows including “Fiddler On the Roof”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Annie” and “Guys and Dolls”.

Adrian has worked extensively in film and television with credits including “Ocean’s 13”, “Entourage”, “General Hospital”, “The King of Queens”, “Frasier”, “Bruce Almighty” and recurring roles in “24” and “iCarly” (as Mr Devlin).

Adrian started Upstage in 1999 with a simple principle at its core — to create an environment that would produce fully rounded young performers:

“I wanted the students to take part in all three disciplines i.e. acting, singing and dance so that when they perform on stage, they have what we call 'chops'-that's how actors are taught in England. And the skills learnt in the performing arts are so useful to young people whatever future career they choose.”

Payment Options: You can also choose to pay in four installments.

Cancellations before the end of the second week will receive a refund (less $100 handling fee). No refunds after the second week, however, fees can be applied toward another program or camp subject to availability.
