The Upstage Theatre Arts School’s Program at Brookside Elementary School — Aladdin Kids
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure.
When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
Who is Eligible:
All students in Kindergarten – 2nd grade are welcome to join our after-school play production class starting on Wednesday January 9th. The class introduces basic theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music and dance taught by professionals. The teachers are highly qualified with many aggregate years experience in Children’s Theatre. Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final production. Please check the production dates below, as we expect every child to be present for show weekend.

Cost: $440 per child. This can also be paid in two monthly payments of $235.
Price includes: Full attendance for rehearsals and participation in the show, with costumes and props included. Students will be working with a professional Director, Choreographer, and Musical Director during rehearsals. There will be a Production Director to liaise with the school and run all logistics of the classes and performances.
