Session 2 of our 2019 Summer Theater Camp program for students aged 6 to 14 will be a production of the ever popular musical Anything Goes. The camp will culminate in a public performance, complete with fully realized sets, costumes, lights and the roar of a supportive crowd. Casting will be fair and as much as possible “ensemble”.

Price includes: Full attendance to rehearsal, costumes and props — plus air conditioning for all performances, a DVD of the show, and final cast dinner.

Dates & Times: Monday, June 24th – Saturday, July 13th. Mondays – Fridays:  9:00am – 3:30pm. Final Saturday times tbd.

Description

Session two of our South Pasadena theatre summer camp program will be a production of the classic musical Anything Goes. Anything Goes is a wacky shipboard farce featuring romance, intrigue, colorful characters and a glorious score from Cole Porter. Highlights include: “You’re The Top,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “Friendship,” “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and the title number.Students will be working with a Director, Choreographer and Musical Director to develop the full range of their performance skills. There will also be a Production Manager present at all times.

Casting will be fair and as much as possible “ensemble” — every child, irrespective of experience, will feel they’re making an important contribution to the success of the show. The final production will be fully realized with sets, costumes, lights and the roar of a supportive crowd.

Price includes: Full attendance to rehearsal, costumes and props. Air conditioning for all performances. Plus, a DVD of the show, and a cast dinner on the final Friday. A sibling discount is available for those enrolling more than one child on a program.

7:45am – 8:45am and 3:30pm – 5:30pm at $8/hour.

Payment Terms

All fees need to be paid in full by May 12th to guarantee a place. Full refund (less $100 handling fee) if cancelled before May 12th. No refunds after May 12th, however fees can be applied toward another camp subject to availability. For alternative payment arrangements please contact Adrian Cohen.

Sibling Discount
