An Overview of Upstage:

All students in 1st through 5th grade are welcome to join our Friday musical revue class at Westwood Charter Elementary School. The class introduces theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music, and dance taught by professionals.

The experience will culminate in a Musical Theatre Enrichment full of songs from past school shows, Disney musicals, and your favorite Broadway musicals. This is a fantastic opportunity for your kids to receive individualized feedback, and perform their own solos! Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final showcase.

Upon completion of the program, our students not only acquire tangible skills but also embark on a transformative journey where they cultivate essential qualities for their everyday lives. These include effective communication, confidence, respect, sense of responsibility, and a multitude of other invaluable attributes.
