Description

Program Overview:

Upstage staff will be working with students in 1st-6th grade. Get ready to Bop to the Top this summer! In this high-energy musical theatre camp, students will sing, dance, and act through favorite moments and songs from all three High School Musical movies- from the Wildcats’ first big show, to championship dreams, to summer by the pool. Campers will build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills while learning fun choreography, vocal technique, and scene work. Each day will be packed with group activities as well as individual instruction. There will not be specific casting during this week, however campers will be given material to work on and use to develop overall performance skills. The week will culminate in an informal presentation, showcasing the students’ efforts over the 5 day camp. The teachers are highly qualified with many aggregate years of experience in children’s theatre.
