This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations in The Wizard of Oz! Songs include the classics we all know and love, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, “If I Only Had a Heart”, “Yellow Brick Road”, “We’re Off to See The Wizard”, and more!
Working on this show, our performers will develop their acting, singing and dance skills. The camp will culminate in two public performances of a fully realized production with sets, costumes, lights and the roar of a supportive crowd. Casting will be fair, and as much as possible “ensemble” — every child, irrespective of experience, will feel they’re making an important contribution to the success of the show. Students will be working with a Director, Choreographer and Musical Director during rehearsals.
