We are offering an 8 week vocal technique class, giving our students great newfound musical knowledge. This class with help singers develop their skills, and also their confidence as a solo singer. They will be learning sight reading and music study that will help them to prepare for Upstage Year Round programs, and beyond. The class size will be small, allowing all students to receive individual advice and instruction on their own unique voice. The overall objective of this class is to create a safe, exciting environment for kids to learn vocal technique all the while working together to build each others confidence, and the joy of singing.

Jason’s class focuses on vocal technique. As a Juilliard grad his training is in bel canto and speech level singing. This combination of techniques works well with young singer as it provides a base of breath support, while also working on pitch, vocal flexibility and range. It is especially for for voices that are starting to changes. And yes! Both boys and girls voices change. It’s especially good for voices that are starting to change.
