An Overview of Upstage:
All students in 2nd through 5th grade at Coeur d’Alene Avenue Elementary School are welcome to join our after-school play production class of Willy Wonka, Jr. The class introduces theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music, and dance taught by professionals.

Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final production. Please check the production dates, as we expect every child to be present for all performances.
Upon completion of the program, our students not only acquire tangible skills but also embark on a transformative journey where they cultivate essential qualities for their everyday lives. These include effective communication, confidence, respect, sense of responsibility, and a multitude of other invaluable attributes.
Tuition includes a script, and downloads of the musical tracks to practice with at home. We provide costumes and props that will live at the theatre and be used in performances.
