Description
Program Overview:
All students in 5th through 10th grade are welcome to join our summer production of The Wizard of Oz. The class teaches theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music, and dance taught by professionals. We split lead roles and make sure all students remain active and involved throughout the show.
- Pricing: $15/hr ($1,490.00 total or 3 installments of $511.00)
- Camp dates are Monday – Friday, July 14 – August 2, 2025 from 9:00am to 3:30pm
- Final performances are on Friday, August 1 6pm and Saturday, August 2 at 10:30am & 1:30pm show (9:30am call time)
- Drop off begins at 8:30am and pick up ends at 3:45pm
- Camp will be held at The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena, 1424 Fremont Ave, South Pasadena, CA 91030
- Sign-in and sign-out will be outside
- Appropriate Health and Safety protocols will be followed and enforced
- There will be three creative teachers (director, musical director and choreographer), one production director, and counselors on-sight
- Parents will need to pack snacks, lunch and water for the kids
The teachers are highly qualified with many aggregate years of experience in children’s theatre. Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final production. Please check the production dates, as we expect every child to be present for all performances.
Tuition includes a script, and downloads of the musical tracks to practice with at home. We provide costumes and props that will live at the theatre and be used in performances. Tickets to the final performances are sold separately.
