| Payment Terms | This program is $500 per student. It is being funded by OPEF and requires families to only pay a $75 materials and registration fee which includes bound script, downloadable licensed tracks, and costume rental. Joining this program is a commitment to being present at all rehearsals. Once the show is cast, each students presence is essential in blocking the performances. |
Oak Park Education Foundation (OPEF) sponsored Upstage MCMS Fall Musical Theatre Program
All students in 6th through 8th grade at Medea Creek Middle School are welcome to join our after-school play production class of Anything Goes on Thursdays. The class introduces theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music and dance taught by professionals. The experience will include a fully realized final production with professionally designed sets, costumes, lights, sound, and props. The teachers are highly qualified with many aggregate years of experience in youth theatre. Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final production. Please check the production dates below, as we expect every child to be present for all performances.
Materials and registration fee includes a script, and musical tracks to practice with at home. Upstage will provide costumes for the shows. Tickets to the shows are not included.
