Program Schedule

Dates & Times:
Tuesdays, August 29th, 2023- Friday, December 1st, 2023 (3pm-5pm class times to start, times change below.)

No Class: November 21st (Thanksgiving)

Extended Classes:
Classes extend to 3pm-6pm on November 7th, 14th, 28th, and an added class on Wednesday, November 29th

Please Note: October 31st and November 7th are early release conference days – Class times will reflect that early release.
Performances

SHOW 1: Thursday, November 30th 3pm call time 6:30pm show
SHOW 2: Friday, December 1st 5pm call time 6:30pm show
Sibling/Multiple Session Discount

A discount is available to those enrolling more than one child or one child in multiple sessions. The discount is equal to 15% off the full price for each additional child or session. If you would like a Sibling/Multiple Session Discount code please make a request via the Product Enquiry tab above, or through our contact page.
Payment Terms

Please see our Terms and Conditions. A two-payment option is available. Please note, there is a nominal convenience fee added. If you have any questions regarding payment please contact Taylor@upstageschools.com. Tickets to the final performances are sold separately.

If you cancel 14 days or more prior to the start of the program you will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee.

An Overview of Upstage:

All students in 1st through 5th grade at Red Oak Elementary School are welcome to join our after-school play production class of The Little Mermaid, Jr. The class introduces theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive theatre games and scene practice, as well as music, and dance taught by professionals.

The experience will include a fully realized final production with...

  • professionally designed sets
  • costumes
  • lights
  • sound
  • props, and more!

Each child is encouraged to fully participate and is considered an integral part in our final production. Please check the production dates, as we expect every child to be present for all performances.

Upon completion of the program, our students not only acquire tangible skills but also embark on a transformative journey where they cultivate essential qualities for their everyday lives. These include effective communication, confidence, respect, sense of responsibility, and a multitude of other invaluable attributes.

Tuition includes a script, and downloads of the musical tracks to practice with at home. We provide costumes and props that will live at the theatre and be used in performances.
