Confidence for life
Upstage Theatre Programs help kids make new friends, speak more clearly, move more easily and — creating together — break out of their shell.
Upstage provides after-school performing arts education for young people. Founded on the principle that theatre should be fair and fun, our productions feature ensemble casting, reasonable rehearsal hours, and a safe environment for the child to find their own level in their own time. Many of our students return year after year — we are their theatre family!

Everyone becomes a family
“I’ve been to about five different performing arts schools, and only Upstage made me want to come back as soon as I can! At Upstage, everyone becomes a family, and I never felt uncomfortable around anyone. Upstage has taught me a lot, and given me fantastic memories!!”
— Victoria V.
Skills for life
“Upstage has been a wonderful fun place for my kids’ confidence to grow… not only on stage, but in life. They have gone from a little shy to receiving the highest marks in oral presentation with little effort. These are indeed skills for life.”
— Melinda S.
Joy and confidence
“There are no words to thank you adequately for the joy and confidence you gave to Maya. Thank you for believing in her to reach and try beyond anything she had ever dreamed before.”
— Mary C.
He has not stopped singing
“My son had a fantastic time at Upstage Summer Camp… He has not stopped singing since, and has a confidence in performing in front of people.”
— Linda G.
Self-confidence & leadership skills
“Rachel has attended Upstage for five consecutive years. In addition to learning skills in acting, singing, and dancing, Upstage has helped her gain self-confidence and leadership skills. The teachers are wonderfully supportive and knowledgeable.”
— Amy M.
