Upstage for Schools

Since 1999, Upstage has been serving the greater LA community.

We provide premier youth musical theatre experiences for schools in West LA, South Pasadena, and Conejo Valley — currently, at Westwood Charter Elementary, Kenter Canyon Elementary, Palisades Charter Elementary, Roscomare Road Elementary, Braddock Drive Elementary & Gifted Magnet, Overland Avenue Elementary, Warner Avenue Elementary, Horace Mann Elementary, Red Oak Elementary, Granada Hills Charter, Medea Creek Middle, Oak Park Education Foundation and South Pasadena Education Foundation. In addition, we offer multiple community programs and summer day-camps.

Confidence for life

Upstage Theatre Programs help kids make new friends, speak more clearly, move more easily and — creating together — break out of their shell.

Upstage provides after-school performing arts education for young people. Founded on the principle that theatre should be fair and fun, our productions feature ensemble casting, reasonable rehearsal hours, and a safe environment for the child to find their own level in their own time. Many of our students return year after year — we are their theatre family!
